Laptop GPU Upgrade

I currently have an Asus ROG Gl552VW with a Gtx 960m GPU and was wanting to upgrade to a GTX 980m. Is it physically possible to do, even if i have to jump through hoops for it?

In looking at a picture of the motherboard the GPU is soldered to the board so while it "might" be possible to do it, it would require someone very skilled with soldering to do it.
