I have Philips TV about 10 yr the standby light is on but I can't turn it on

The standby light just means it is plugged into a working AC outlet. You could try unplugging it from the wall for a while and plugging it back in to reset it. After 10 years a bad power supply would not be a surprise and the symptom would be the same.
