Have a new Samsung 6400 4k TV and it will not recognize my Roku 3? Thoughts?

Roku plugged into power, HDMI cord plugged from Roku to TV (have tried all three HDMI ports with no success). When I go to the relevant source it says "No Signal"and to check device , etc. The HDMI cord worked with the Panasonic so I know it is not defective. Tried powering up the Roku with TV off then on and reverse. Pulled the power plug from Roku as a reboot. No Success. Don't know what more I can add?
same problem with my streamax box and new Vizio 4K, worked fine for months then one day, just the android box wouldn't work, PlayStation, x box all work, to get the tv to read the box again, what I did was a hard reset on the tv, meaning unplug the tv, the hold the power button down for 30 seconds, completely draining the power from the tv, sometimes it takes two or three times of trying to get the tv to reset, but it works
