Hi folks my TV in my bedroom (one bed bungalow) is missing film4+1 I have been told this is down to it not being an HD TV. So is there anything that I can do to it without going to the expense of buying a new TV to receive this channel.

Thank You

It does sound like you have a digital receiver. It is possible that the signal for that channel is simply too weak to tune in. What kind of antenna/cable source are you using?

What make/model TV do you have? If you are picking up other channels, it must have a digital receiver. If it doesn't have a digital receiver, you could purchase a digital converter/adapter and connect it to your TV to receive those channels.

Hi the only channel that seems to be missing (well the one that stands out) is film4+1. All the other main channels at least seem to there.. I have tried retuning the TV but with no joy.

Hi thanks again for your reply. The signal is really strong I had some fitters around this morning to check the signal as I was getting interference off a 4G mast. They sorted the signal out to both TV's but the film4+1 channel was still missing in the bedroom. They told me it was down to it not being an HD TV. & at that time I never thought to ask them if I could do something to rectify the issue.

Thanks

Do you receive other "HD" channels on that set (the one in the bedroom)?

I have a camper (caravan) that has 2 Samsung HDTVs in it, connected to the same digital (amplified) antenna. They do not always tune in the same channels. It seems odd, but I have experienced this myself.

Sorry for your troubles.

Hi I've just checked the TV & no it doesn't seem to have any HD channels. Although since they came out & sorted the signal out this morning I do have a lot more channels on it lol..
