The roku streaming stick cannot be heard through the rca surround, only through the tv speakers. Right now the roku is pretty much useless. I'm using it with closed caption, so that maybe I can make some kind of sense of it. Please someone HELP!

If your TV has bluetooth built in you should be able to pair it with the Bose speaker. If not you would need a bluetooth transmitter with the correct input to connect to the audio out of the TV.
You are getting sound from other sources connected to your TV? If so then check the set up menu on the Roku to see if there is a place to change the audio output type. If not then you may need to add an audio connection from the TV to the RCA.
Some TVs won't send audio of from some inputs. You could try using an HDMI audio extractor to get an audio out to connect to the RCA surround system.
