Well then it should work. As for bottlenecking, I think it's going to be the PCI Express that's going to be the bottleneck. Which is pretty normal considering how cheap that adapter is.
Personally, I would just buy or build a desktop instead. It's not worth the hassle.

If i just use GTX 970 instead of 1070 that will be good?
Yeah that will be fine. However, I'd highly recommend getting the RX 480 instead if you go that route. The RX 480 is a measly $200 while packing better performance than a GTX 970.
