BSOD error with HP laptop

Hi all,

Laptop: HP Notebook - 15-g203ax with added 8gb RAM

I'm getting a few different BSOD errors, usually when attempting to watching a movie or a youtube video, The first one is a bcmwl63a.sys error, I understand that this is a Broadcom Network adapter error but I have no experience in network adapters and dont really want to uninstall one if I cant get another one installed correctly and be stuck with a laptop my wife cant use with no internet. Could someone walk me through this process? The HP Drivers site has a huge amount of network drivers and have no idea where to start.

My second BSOD is a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error. I have run the memory diagnostic tool in windows as well as the SFC scan and no errors get detected. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this one?

I would have to look at the actual memory dump. But a memory management error does not have to mean that you have anything wrong with your RAM. it just means that windows memory management software detected that the data at a particular place in RAM is incorrect. There are error codes and info in the minidump file that help figure out why but updating drivers might solve the problem.

first attempt at a fix would be to install the updated broad com driver from hp
http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/7486438/model/7597920

the installer when run should just install the new driver and activate it with out you having to deinstall the old one. (it might require a reboot but it should tell you)

looks like they did a bunch of driver update yesterday. (Jun 18, 2016) you might want to pick up the set of updates

Thanks, I updated all the drivers with the latest ones, turns out HP have a support app that can do it for you but hadn't done the most recent ones yet, which included the Broadcom but time will tell if it works for that error. Do you have any idea for the memory management error?
