Long story short, I've spent a small fortune keeping my wife's laptop going over the last year and it has finally given up the ghost. Terrific.

We aren't doing too well financially at the moment, so I'm going to struggle to get anything amazing - my budget is £300 and under, but preferably £200 and under.

To explain her usage; she has an i7 PC, so this laptop would be primarily used to stream from the PC, using Steam and Teamviewer. On-board space isn't vital, as all of her pictures and files are stored on the PC also. The only usage for the laptop apart from this would be general web browsing and watching YouTube.

She has asked for another 15in screen, but I'm confident of negotiating down to a 14. 13 would be difficult, but I've found one that could be an option.

COULD YOU HELP ME WITH THIS QUEST?

I have considered the HP Stream 13. The screen isn't terrific, but reviews seem solid...but one article scared me off by comparing it's processing power to an iPhone 6. A phone. Would the Stream be powerful enough to Stream via TeamViewer and Steam flawlessly? I have read that the Wireless Card isn't great = poor streaming, but I believe that was on the older model.

Thank you for any and all help.

both are the same laptop one is refurb and the other is not. i dont mind refurb but its just personal preference. i have the exact same laptop and it works great for what you would be using it for. we are not doing good financially either so this laptop worked out great. with an Intel core i5 5200u which is nice and fast and 6GB of ram its excellent for web browsing and good for streaming.

this is a good deal, has a good screen 15.1 inch hd (not fhd) and im happy with it.
