I have an Asus Q400A and it was working fine with my tv via hdmi. The battery on the laptop died while watching something, no big deal. Plug the charger and power back on, all of a sudden hdmi no longer works. Tv is good, cable is good, no clue what happened. Any help? Thanks in advance

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to press the Windows key + P at the same time and select either Duplicate or Extended display then press Enter.
- If it will still not work, uninstall/reinstall the graphics driver.
- Got to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to the graphics card.
- Once completely uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- Do press the Windows key + P at the same time again then test it.
