convert picture from Cr2 to JPEG in canon 650D

convert picture from Cr2 to JPEG in canon 650D. i want to change the format saved picture to JPEG without transfer it to my PC first ( maybe change the setting in the camera so it will be automatically change the save picture into JPEG? )


anyone know my problem? thanks

Cr2 is Canons version of RAW. The camera will save both at the same time.

You can change the format the Camera saves the photos in (Nick_50 covered this) however once the photo is taken, the camera can not make any further alterations to the file that i'm aware of. you will need a computer to do the conversion from your RAW format to a compressed format.

do you know how to convert our taken picture just using our camera from CR2 to jpeg? thanks

In camera? No. Once the pic is taken, that's it. The camera can't convert it after.
That would have to be done with software. The s/w that came with the camera, or any number of other applications can do this.
