I recently switched my speakers over to another computer and the computer isnt recognizing them. I made sure all the cables were plugged in correctly, and I tested the speakers on my phone to make sure it wasnt an issue with them. I know it probably has something to do with drivers, but Im at the end of my rope. The speakers arent showing up in device manager or in Playback Devices.

Solution
Go to windows sound manager by right clicking on the speaker icon next to the time on windows desktop.
Select playback devices.

And select speakers or HD playback.

Right click on it.

Select configure speakers.
Change the speaker setup to 5.1 surround.
Click next to check all of the z506 speakers output sound Coilly Zee

If it fails then go into the bios of the motherboard and make sure HD audio is enabled, and it is not set to AC97.
