I recently bought a Lenovo 500 15acz with an A10 APU. Before buying it I checked many videos showing its performance, which was good enough for me. However, the performance I get is not at all what I expected.

I've seen many times that heat causes a lot of trouble in laptops, and this model was not the exeption. However, this might not be the only cause, as I've read many complains about Carrizo APU's and their poor performance for the general user.

Is there a way to fix this? I undertand we're not talking about a gaming machine, but compared to what I've seen this proccesor can do, I've seen nothing of that on my laptop. Thanks in advance.

sadly that that CPU is automatically clocked. And is uncapatable with AMD over drive. There are some AMD downloads called crimson that help. You can download easyBCD and that will allow you to pen all four cores properly and its safe. Also Download Bittsum ParkControle you and max the CPU out without causing any damage. You can change the frequency scaling AC and DC. I hope that helps I have more options but its more advanced and need to do some registry changes and use power shell. Don't forget to set you a restore point.
