My Macbook 13" late 2008 trackpad firstly stopped moving after i replaced the thermal paste so i tried to reconnect the cable a couple of times but when reconnecting the cable i accidentally pressed to hard on the back and cracked the keypad and the mouse still doesn't move! i can get a replacement one but wil that fix the mouse not moving problem and secondly i stripped some screws on the back of the keypad trying to get it out how do i fix that?

thanks and regards,

Tom

Sounds like you shouldn't be allowed to take computers apart.

Seriously though, could be a range of issues, and if you've messed up this much already, better leave it to someone else as you're likely to break more stuff if you keep going.
