Hey everyone.

I have a weird issue with my ASUS laptop,
when ever I play a game without it being plugged in to the battery, I get 'shutter' FPS drops.
(when I play a game with the battery plugged in charging, I never get these FPS drops),
-checked the battery settings, it is running on full performance, plugged in or unplugged.
-also battery saving is disabled.

I don't know what might cause this to happen, maybe you guys could help me out.

Thanks.

Im a bit tapped for answers on this one, the only other thing I can think of is to head over to the BIOS and see if theres anything that ASUS has in place that might be throttling the power to the GPU.

You said you set it to Full performance in the control panel, but this also needs to be done in the Nvidia settings. Just note it will eat battery like nothing else.

Try going into NVIDIA CP > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Power Management > Prefer Max Performance. Then Apply, and then try running your game on battery.

What is it exactly I should be looking for in BIOS?
