i have hp starwars special edition notebook. yesterday i performed a clean windows 10 installation, but after that star wars command center isnt working its saying-"this system is not supported" is there any way to make that work? or is there any way to recover my hp customized OS(i have that 25 gb recovery file but thats not working after the clean installation)

Hi,

Once reason why that software might not be working is because of the clean install that happened. I would suggest reinstalling Windows that originally came with your laptop. You can order a System Recovery disc from HP then run it with your laptop.Once you have the original OS installed just do an upgrade to Windows 10. Also do try downloading the software from HP support site using the product # of your laptop to get the accurate software.

Long story short for people with refurbished/reinstalled laptops. I got Windows 10 installed and just followed the HP Support Assistant recommended downloads BIOS and R2D2, then rebooted as recommended. If your SW photos and sounds are present, this means that the software for the SW Command Center should be too. All you have to do is try and find it. Took about 5 mins of random searching different phrases until I found it in the SWSetup file (which honestly, makes total sense lol).

So 2 ways to search for it (copy and paste as appropriate for the file search window):

C:\SWSetup\APP\Applications\HP\StarWarsC_MM6SB2\1.00\src

or

StarWarsCommandCenter

no spaces.

Then just double click on the program file and install! Voila, 2 mins roughly to be able to open the icon from the desktop and no tedious reprogramming was needed. (Or purchased files on DVD's = scam).

Hope this helps!
