HP Pavillion G6-2000; How Do I Remove the Keyboard?

This is probably the worst laptop to take apart. I've looked everywhere online, I've watched pretty much every video and even been on the HP website to find a way to remove that god damn keyboard from the laptop.
I've unscrewed all the necessary screws, I've pushed through the keyboard "release" hole on the back, I've rammed all kinds of crap into the top of the keyboard to try and release it.
None of this is working and it's extremely frustrating me to the point where I'm thinking throwing it out of the window is the only way to loosen it! :fou:
If someone could shed some light on how this actually comes off that'd be great.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I've already checked out those two links and followed them to the letter but the keyboard just won't budge.
I see you're a laptop master, Have you ever removed a keyboard similar to this one? If so are there any tips you could give me to make things easier?
Am I just not pushing hard enough in the release hole? It just seems that if I push harder the keyboard will snap.

Finally I've found someone with the same issue, I just can't budge the keyboard & I'm sure if I push any harder there will be a lot more wrong with the laptop other than the fan which I'm trying to replace!
Did you ever find a solution?
It's definitely one of the worst I've ever taken apart!

I have a different HP Pavilion, 15-AU063NR and needed to replace the battery. Managed to pop the keyboard loose but could not get it out. It was still caught in the middle at the back. Finally found that the keyboard could be rotated counter clockwise, 90 degrees and it disengaged. When place it back, it can be just centered and pressed in place without rotation. Still looking for a replacement battery Model 849909-850. Not much luck searching the internet and finding a reliable source.

Hope this helps
