So I am looking for a gaming laptop that I will use for 3-4 years with gtx 960m ( I have no problem playing with low graphics as long as I get better performance) and I have narrowed it down to three laptops:

1) http://www.jarir.com/sa-en/computers-peripherals/laptops/acer-vn7-592g-747c-laptops-452639.html

2) http://www.jarir.com/sa-en/computers-peripherals/laptops/dell-inspiron-7000-laptops-458100.html

3) http://www.jarir.com/sa-en/computers-peripherals/laptops/msi-pe60-2qe-laptops-451312.html

They all have their pros and cons but I would like your opinions on which would be better for the long run.

If you are really gaming, go for MSI and Alienware. Dell is more for business, and Alienware should have more gaming features you need. As I know, MSI is equipped with the most so-called gaming features, Steelseries keyboard, Nahimic, etc. You may need to check what kind of the features matter to you the most.

I will be gaming on it but I would use it for college and also for a long period of time, the only problem I have with the msi is its horrific battery life.

No I am still considering the msi but was wondering if the loss in battery life is worth it? And can I get at least 3 hours of browsing/ YouTube from it? And I have also heard that the dell has many problems like screen keyboard and the acer has an average battery but it's build quality tends to create smudges and it will look bad in the future and it has serious heating issues. So considering all this should I go for the msi?

If any gaming laptop gives 2 hours of game play on battery then I would rate it as a good gaming laptop because that laptop will definitely run up to 5-6 hours (even more sometimes) for other day to day tasks. Coming to MSI laptop which you listed above. I don't think it has that bad battery life. I am fan of MSI and they are really innovative when it comes to building gaming laptop. Remember mechanical keyboard on which we use to play games on PCs? MSI is the first to bring it to the laptops. I recommend MSI laptop from above 3.
