I have a 500watt HARTKE bass head, and im using 2 yorkville ys115 , basically 200watt pa speakers. Im running 2 quarter inch cables from the amp to each of the speakers. Both speakers and bass amp are 8ohms. The sound is great but am I gonna blow something?
Does the wattage add up to 400? Since each speaker is 200watts?

It is possible that you could damage the speakers since your bass head has 500 watts into the combined 4 ohm impedance when both speakers are connected (250 watts each). Not too overpowered though so with restraint you should be OK. If you use the EQ keep the volume lower.
