hello all, about a year ago i bought a Asus zenbook ux32vd ultrabook. i spent a pretty penny on this laptop, here are the specs.

Processor: Intel i7-3517u 1.90 ghz
ram: 6gig
oper sys: windows 10 64 bit
hdd: 500gig
ssd:500 gig
gpu: nvidia 620m

The problem that i am having is that even with all of the right parts this computer is barely able to do even the most simple of tasks without lagging; these tasks include: play youtube videos, write a sentence in word, or even play the least graphically demanding games. I've been told by friends different solutions such as limiting the framerate through my graphics card or over clocking my cpu to 2.3 ghz. but before i did any of that i'd figure that i would ask on here first. i have also kept this computer relatively clean with numerous computer scans and removal of any unused files.

The quickest and easiest solution is to backup your data and do fresh install of Windows unless you have an clean image of the hard drive which you can restore.

I'm sorry to say but that's not a gaming laptop. Look at the Score on that specific GPU

It's not meant for gaming per say but it should handle Youtube fine. Check your download speeds, Check if Drivers are up to date for the gpu. I wouldn't suggest overclocking the CPU (if you can may be locked) as the cooling is not ideal. Also what OS you got Win10? Check Task Manager and see what percentage the CPU is running you could have a bunch of things running in the back ground.
