Hello everyone, I am writing this post to ask for your opinion about a problem that is boring me a lot this last period.
I bought a new lithium battery 10.8V 4400mah 6 cell (48Wh) for my Packard Bell Easynote TS11HR-120IT (I5 2410M Gt 540m 6GB Ram).
Everything seems to be fine, but unfortunately after about 15-20 minutes of gaming the computer suddenly turns off (like the battery was removed), when i immediatly powered on the PC was still at 80% battery.
When i try to run a full furmark it shut off at the start of the benchmark, none of these problems however occurs when plugged in with AC adapter.
In any case I thought it was a battery problem just bought and I immediately ordered another compatible battery and with the same exact voltage/wattage of the old original packard bell battery, but same problem.
I do not know what to think, if the batteries of this seller are not good, if my laptop has other problems or if it is a normal thing, It seems that the battery does not hold the power required by pc for benchmarking, gaming and others complex software.
I thought to overheating, but it would have happened even if connected to the plug?
I would mark the fact that's all fine with Ac adapter plugged, these problems happen only on battery.
Thanks in advice for help

Solution
Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to uninstall/reinstall the battery driver from Device Manager.
- Next to try if it will still not work is to do a battery calibration.
- Here's how: http://www.tomsguide.com/faq/id-2342991/calibrate-battery-windows-laptops.html
- If the battery calibration will still not work, do test the AC adapter as well just to make sure it's working properly.
- Remove the battery off the laptop then plug in just the AC adapter and see if it will work or not.
- If the laptop will work just fine with just the AC adapter connected that means it's working fine.
- But do also try using a different AC adapter to charge the laptop battery and see if it will work normally or not.
