Hello!
I order a brand new Dell XPS 15 9550 (4K version) and surprise! It wont charge, in fact without the AC adapter plugin in it wont power on. So I have to connect it to AC and then the Led start to blinking, Windows load successfully but Battery is 100% of charge and don't charging.
I restart the laptop and go to BIOS setup, Battery says: Communication error, battery Idle.
So far I've try this (without lucky):
- BIOS Update
- Shutdown -> Remove Battery -> Press On Button (15s) -> Plug Battery->Start
- Disable battery using Windows Hardware Management -> Restart
This new XPS model has a CMOS Battery, maybe it is necessary to remove it in order to made a fresh reset and charge?
Thanks in advance!
Oh BTW, AC Adapter works fine by it self, I mean, without the battery connected the laptop boot successfully.
