hello i just got a new sony soundbar with sub my problem my tv has no audio out what so ever the sub i have has a hdim out on it i went out and got a hdmi switcher box it was two out and three 3 hdim ports what i wanna know is how can i set this up so i have audio with the home theater and have my ps4 hooked up as well i just want to play games and moves off my ps4 and have audio to
help no audio with home theater

Makes and model numbers of the TV and soundbar would help.
The HDMI "out" of the soundbar is probably meant to work with TVs that have an HDMI ARC input. that sends audio from the TV back to a surround sound system making an additional cable redundant. If you have this on the TV then you just need to connect the soundbar to that input and turn ARC on in the TV menu. Connecting the soundbar HDMI to the switcher second output would work onlyif the switcher supports ARC.
An HDMI switcher with audio extraction would give you an audio connection if the soundbar has an optical or aux input as well as HDMI.
