My Old STR DE345 defective, What new Sony receiver should I buy?

My very old STR DE345 rear speaker plug ins are no longer working. My DE345 is showing it's age, a 15-16 year old receiver. Yeah I know wow Happy So I am looking for a great sony 5.1 500w receiver like the STR DE345. How can I use the speakers that came with the STR DE345 with a newer receiver? I have 5.1 speakers. 1 large front speaker, Two small front speakers, two rear built in wall speakers, and a sub woofer. What sony receiver similar to de345 with 500w and 5.1 do you recommend today? Under $200 is my budget. No I'm not planning to upgrade speakers, just upgrading my old sony de345 receiver.

I'm not sure if this Sony STR DH550 is my best choice. I heard this receiver lacks bass and has no bass/treble options. Does the STR DH550 produce great bass? Is there a better Receiver around $250?
