It`s a decent start but it - You don`t have to take my word on this- is easier and cost efficient . This laptop is over a grand retail, but a PC build like this will do just as well.

As far as I know, MSI, ASUS and Alienware are all good brand. ASUS ROG G751 is also a good machine for gaming. Moreover, you can click the link to get some idea about how the performance of the GTX970M running the game.
