So in a sense I have been giving the ok to purchase my new laptop. And I think I have made a final choice, but as many of you have experienced is having trouble pulling the trigger.

The choice I am going with is an MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 002(non 4-k, heard scaling wasn't great), which seems to be good for me, since I'm using it as graphic design laptop and video editing laptop, and then having gaming on the side. Good screen, a skylake processor, 970m, and 16gbs. I know the battery is kind of crappy, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have the charger plugged in a majority of the time.

So do you guys think I am making a great choice? Do you have any suggestions to me to switch to? If you need a budget idea, I'd like to keep it under $2000

I would recommend the GT72 if you don't mind having a thicker body. the GS60 ghost is good, but the thing get's really hot under high loads.

It is possibility, although its 17 in. I sort of want a smaller laptop, just since I'll have to be carrying it around
