Fisher Speaker model SR-316 ,with CA-880 AMPLIFIER

How to connect speaker to amplifier.I have the original flat 2 prong wire that came with the set.The black and red switch appear to require a clip-in action.I have tried repeatedly to attach wire both to amp and speakers but they become dislodged.Help!!!
what is the correct way to connect speaker to the amplifier?

If so, then you need to make sure you've twisted the ends of the wires, push down on the spring until you see a small hole, poke the wire in and release the spring. Give it a light tug to make sure the spring latch has caught.
