Need help with my Asus laptop please

My Asus laptop won't turn on I accidentally plugged my headphones in the wrong spot right above where you are supposed to and now the power button won't work and it's plugged in and the green button isn't on.need help how do I turn it on?

If you could provide the model of the laptop to at least know where you plugged the headphone jack, we might help you.

So, where did you forcefully plug the jack? The USB, the SATA or in the charger port? In the usb or sata it could have damaged the ports but i don't think it would break the laptop, and if it was in the charger port then you could have jumped it an made a short circuit that well, could be the cause of that the laptop doesnt turn on. Did the laptop went off right away when you plugged the headphones wrong?

i don't really know what it's called but it looks like tow s's with three arrow looking things coming out of it and yes the laptop went right off

Yeah, that is a USB 3.0 port, I can only think that you must have caused a short-circuit with the jack and that burned some component in the laptop D: I am sorry but you better take it to an ASUS technician to repair it.
