HDMI Out won't work

Hey Guys.

I have a gamer laptop and there is a HDMI out port in it. But when i plug in a HDMI cabel it won't send the picture trough it. The computer register that the cabel is connected and my computer recommend a 3K resolution, but nothing shows up on the TV.

I have tried out alle other HD resolutions, and i got the same problem on other TV's also - so something is wrong with my pc. HDMI out looks fine (can't see something broken)

What to do?

Couple of thoughts to offer:

1) Try another HDMI cable

2) Right click an open area of your desktop or otherwise go into your graphics card software. Make sure the the HDMI out port is selected. There may be other related settings that need to be configured; e.g., resolution.

3) Likewise the TV needs to know which incoming HDMI port of its own is to be used. Doublecheck TV's menus and settings.

Computer and TV need to be in full agreement.....
