So after some research and a few videos I may have finally rounded down my choices for a new laptop to 2 or 3.

Now the criteria for this laptop is simple. Graphic design, Gaming, Twitch streaming, and potential Steam link usage.

Side notes:
I have a desktop already, this is purely for going around and of course getting away from desktop into the living room.
Weight is a slight issue, but not entirely deal breaking.
Any outside suggestions are welcomed.

Here they are:
MSI XOTIC:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015P2OWOC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=msi%20gs60%20ghost%20pro%20skylake&qid=1449790016&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2&linkCode=sl1&tag=awesomnetwor-20&linkId=7b133f07009dad7b831dcd100886ae0d

Asus ROG:http:http://www.amazon.com/G751JY-WH71-WX-17-Inch-GeForce-Version/dp/B015QZPRW4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462048998&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+rog+g751jy-wh71+wx

These two are the best. I'm leaning towards MSI basically because of form. But the ASUS sounds like it has a lot more power.

Let me know please

I'd pick the MSI simply because I can't stand 17" laptops - they are heavy, clunky, and annoying to use on your lap.

The GTX 970M is pretty powerful for a laptop; the 980M is about the equivalent of a 970 desktop card. The MSI also comes with the newer Skylake processor, which should make a little less heat (though the cooler may not be as good in 15" form), and will be kinder to battery life.
