Hello my friends,

This is first time I have posted a repairing help request, so if there is a mistake or missing item please don't hesitate to ask.

SHould you find something irrelevant or what you don't like please ignore it with a simple feedback.

I shall do my best to keep it tidy, so please don't use harsh language. With that said I am now going to my request which is the best I can do, even not perfect.

Thank you

I have purchased a brand new Acer Aspire V3-772G Laptop with 32GB ram p reinstalled, 256GB mSATA SSD with complete PC name

V3-772G-747a321.76TBDWakk

And serial number:

[edited to comply with guidelines]

With purchasing date:

2014/08/15

description will be that by accident a fluid came into keyboard's base of this laptop and laptop was sent to Infocare Norway through Acer support Norway. That was in October 2015.

Infocare technician replaced outfit and keyboard along with a couple of inner spilled parts and sent me a bill of approximately 6000,- NOK still keyboard made many mistype mistakes.

I updated windows 8.1 to Windows 10, and suddenly all mistakes except "D" were removed. D was the only one which either did not type or typed twice (dd). Also one USB did not work after reparation in October, so I sent it for reparation again.

D problem still persisted and when I received machine this second time no one of 2/2 USB2.0 & 2/2 USB 3.0 did work.

I had to send it back and this time Infocare technician told me that MOtherboard has to be replaced. d problem presisted.

Now when I have received machine problem with USB 2.0 /3.0 was fortunately gone, but D problem persists.

I read somewhere in Acer forum that upgrading bios from V1.13 to V1.15 will solve out keyboard issue.

Now problem is that after motherboard replacement new mb. already has V1.15 Bios version.

D problem is not constant and some times it represent itself while some other times (fewer than problematic times) it seems to work OK.

Now I am not sure why D problem is left and what to do to fix it?

If I send machine to Infocare to repair some other thing can be destroyed???

Can anybody please help???

I have been looking for repairing /service books for fixing V3-722G but cant find repairing book for this model anywhere on the Internet?

Can anybody please help me finding a such book + solution to D problem???

Thanks a million. If something is not clear please do ask, and let me know what kind of solution may be most appropriate.

Thanks

Best Regards

Up to you if you want to send it back, most laptops you just remove a couple of screws to remove the keyboard and a ribbon cable or two that connect it to the motherboard. Pop up the clip on the connector, carefully since they can snap easy, ribbon cable lifts out, and new one is easy to install, line up the side marks to the connection...

Thanks for your answer, but could you please clarify should I send it back to InfoCare Norway for keyboard repair or do it myself???
I am asking this because I am afraid of that if we open laptop motherboard can get destroyed again.
So what to do?

Thanks

As long as you don't treat the thing like it's a block of wood you are hacking apart, not much chance of damaging things. I'm sure you can find guides and videos how to change the keyboard for your laptop.
