Well, I've tried from A-Z trying to go about my Toshiba Satellite P 50-B1468 and I have come to a conclusion that none of the answers I've been searching tirelessly have worked.

Well it does work when i press Fn+F1 or F2 as an example but i don't want to use it like that because it is extremely hark to reach the other end of the keyboard when i have to press the volume buttons. I've also tried the Device Manager and my Generic PnP Monitor is enabled but my function keys still don't work.

Recently, even when i press the Fn+F11 or Fn+F12 it doesn't work. My mute button and WiFi button doesn't work even when i press the Fn button, but the weird thing is the brightness control and the volume control works (only with the help of the Fn button).

I've even tried Settings-> Power & Sleep-> Display Settings-> Power Options -> Display and have enabled Enable Adaptive Brightness and it still doesn't work. I've also tried TOSHIBA-> System Settings-> Keyboard and changed it to Standard F1-F12 mode and wake up on keyboard enabled and have restarted it half a dozen times but still it doesn't work.

I'm running out of options and I seriously need help. I have upgraded my Windows to Windows 10, months back and this problem did not occur back then. Also things like holding the Fn button for 10/30 seconds are useless, even Fn+Alt or Fn+Caps Lock or Fn+ NumLock or Fn+ESC are useless.

There is no issue here with using the Fn keys for the secondary functions, that is exactly how those functions work.

For the keys that don't work, did you check for drivers and software for the laptop from Toshiba? Often the function keys need a program to work fully.
