Hi all,
I asked a similar question for an i3-4005U with a response saying that it would get the job done but not perfectly (which I'm fine with), and would like to see if I can lower my budget even more. Just out of curiosity, I would like to compare it to an AMD A6-7000 and see how well the AMD chip stacks up.
So basically, I am in need of a laptop that can :
Full Specs of laptop
Processor : 2.2 GHz Dual-Core A6-7000
RAM : 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM
Storage : 250 GB SSD
Graphics : AMD Radeon R4 HD Graphics
Will the A6 be able to crunch through what I need, or is the i3 my bare minimum for a tolerable experience. Also, I will BARELY be playing any games past a few platformers and other light games. Again, I am aware of it being a dual-core and won't be expecting buttery-smooth scrubbing through videos and lightning fast render times and I can live with that. The most important thing is that I can get the job done at least somewhat efficiently without having to deal with crashes and other kinds of nonsense.

■ Edit videos in Blender (1080p 30fps w/ a few 2D effects, text overlays, color grading, and things of that sort) and not have INSANE render times
■ Record audio from USB mic w/ Audacity
■ Everyday browsing (Reddit, YouTube, all of that)
