Is there a better option for speakers than Klipsch ProMedia 2.1?

Solution
Klipsch is NOT a 'Best Buy only brand'.
Overall, that is one of the most respected names in the medium grade consumer space for speakers.

Now...those particular speakers? Unknown. But since you already have them, just use them.

klipsch is not a best buy brand. they are a well known and respected speaker company.

as for the promedia 2.1? i've had it. its not a bad system however the subwoofer overpowers the satelites.

are there other good options sub 200? perhaps getting a pair of active bookshelf speakers instead. av30/av40, cr3/cr4 and similar. you could also go unpowered speakers with an amplifier. bs22,mb42, getting a used pair of klipsch bookshelves, etc.

originally i went that route then since i was impressed with klipsch but did not like the pairing i looked into the other offerings. i ended up buying some home theater speakers from them and its been good times since.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I guess the ones I got were Best Buy only. They work pretty well, but as Ssddx mentioned, the woofer does seem to overpower the speakers. It's manageable when I turn down the woofer, though.
