dell:http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-i7559-2512BLK-Generation-GeForce/dp/B015PYZ0J6/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1460918698&sr=1-1&keywords=dell+inspiron+7559

Solution
The dell has a worse screen, poor keyboard, poor trackpad, and really bad upgrade path. And the battery cannot be replaced. I would go with the Asus for a better experience.

My laptop runs a 4GB 960M, and I built a PC for my friend using a desktop 960 4GB. I watched some researched videos on youtube on that subject, and that's not true. The 4GB models will offer better performance in certain games.

As far as laptops go, check out this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315129&cm_re=v15_nitro_black_edition-_-34-315-129-_-Product

I just bought that model, and I'm pretty happy with it. Installing a 500GB SSD and 8 more GB of RAM was kind of a pain, but it runs great. I went for this one over Asus ROG or the Dell because it has a Thunderbolt 3 port, and I'm hoping to add an external graphics card to it in the future. It adds a lot of value to this Acer laptop in my opinion.

the 4gb will not perform better, think of it like this, your on a 4 way highway that suddenly becomes 2 lanes. A traffic jam takes place. Thats the analogy of the 4gb chip its simply not better and its proven. Lying to people and saying that 4gb of vram with a 128 bit bus is all usable is not right, because it is not.

Buy it, i mean you cant go wrong either way. But you will get about 2 years out of a 960m max

I have the Dell inspiron 15 5576 and this is my first gaming laptop .I am satisified with this one...it is worth the keep since you can upgrade it and keep it and take care of it and it is worth it.

but if you cannot afford 1500+ then dell inspiron amd all the way rx560 with 4gb vram is ok with switchable graphics...with fx-9830p.

the ROG Strix GL702ZC would be the ideal ultimate gaming laptop to stop at the top for and never buy again...for a while...it has desktop cpu and graphics card....
