Hello,
My laptop screen keeps randomly blacking out. It used to only happen occasionally but now it happens every 15 to 30 seconds. It goes black for a second or two then back to normal. It is especially bad when the laptop is charging, it will go on an off every second or two. I was looking at the task manger and every time the screen goes black, the disk transfer rate spikes. Does anyone know what is happening and/or how to fix it?
Thanks

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by running a virus/malware scan just to be sure it's free from infection. Please use the link below for the complete guide and tools.
- Do observe the laptop again after finishing the scan and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- If the same problem will persist, do check the processes running on your PC before it spikes.
- Do a clean boot of Windows and see if it will solve the problem or not.
- Here's how: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
- If all these will not work, do reinstall Windows itself.
