I have an asus 15-r210dx. Dark Spuls 3 frame rate is horrendous. The graphics card for this laptop is an HP 5500. The minimum requirement for running the game is either a Radeon 7950, NVIDIA, GeForce GTX 750 Ti / ATI, or DirectX version 11. I know almost nothing. Is there any point in buying a better graphics card, or would it be like putting new rims on a beater truck?

Hi,

Actually the laptop will not run that game even in the lowest possible settings since it doesn't meet even the minimum system requirements. And unfortunately you can't upgrade the graphics card of your laptop since it's soldered in the motherboard. The only way you can upgrade the GPU of your laptop is using an eGPU which will make you upgrade or use a desktop GPU.

Here's a video tutorial on how to use an eGPU.
