I had been using razer surround+synapse since couple of weeks but didn't liked it. I still didn't uninstall it. It had some bugs that even after I select surround OFF it kept it ON. Today I was AFK and the bug had strike again. My brother got irritated as he wasn't enjoying music or game so tried to shut it off but after some failed attempts he uninstalled it using Uninstall Tool that even removes registry remains but the problem didn't go. I keep hearing badly optimized 7.1 in every audio and its completely not usable now. I tried uninstalling audio drivers completely and installed realteks latest ones from its website. Restarted Pc couple of times. Still the problem exists. Please help me. Formatting a pc is worse case scenario that i would like only if its the only thing possible.

PS: Don't comment why was I using buggy old version, my friend gave me i didn't know.
I use Windows 10 pro 64 bit

Try running CCleaner, I'll link to a download location. It will remove unused registries and temp files and might help you out, just make sure you go through the checklist before deleting anything because it might inadvertently delete something you want to keep like stuff in your recycle bin. Hopefully that works.

If it doesn't work, you may want to contact Razor support and tell them the situation. They might be able to help you out.

CCleaner : https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER
(free version is fine).

On another note, you may want to consider getting a soundcard (if you have a desktop that is). I went from a on-board Realtek codec to an Asus DG (~$40AUD) and it was much better in terms of surround sound when playing games. Just...
