my girl friend gave me this laptop that she completetly reset. i was happy, but when hse gave it to me it froze up. i reset it again then it let me put my information into the computer. after that i tried goign to the home screen and it the home screen wont stop flashing on and off about every other second. i cannot access anything on the computer. if anyone can help me it would be very beneficial.

It seems like the Operating System is not functioning properly even though you already did reset it. Did you reset the laptop using its factory reset disc or just the built in factory image? I would suggest running a complete factory reset using a disc that normally comes with the laptop when your purchase one or you can also order it from the manufacturer of the laptop for about $50 more or less. If it came with Windows 10 you can also just create a bootable Windows 10 USB or disc to reset it.
