Hi, I had a broken laptop there for a while now and i meant to fix it (i wanted to use it on my external monitor). I installed fresh install of Windows 10 and it seems to be working (alt+f4 and enter shutdowns the computer) but there is no picture on monitor (sleep mode). When VGA cable is disconnected from laptop it says no VGA cable so i dont believe the cable is problematic. I have also tried lots of keyboard shortcuts (win+p, fn+f4) in hope that picture Will move onto monitor.
Please if anyone could help me

Thanks for your answer but I forgot mention that i already fully removed internal display. By the way i just got it working by installing VGA drivers for this chipset in another computer and moved the disk back in and it works. I am just unable to get into BIOS now
Hi,

What I can suggest is to disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the built in display to the motherboard and it should make the external monitor as the default display. :) You'll be able to see in BIOS as well using the external monitor.

Hopefully it will work for you. :)
