HP laptop connectivity issue

Hello everyone, i want to ask for your help. i have a HP pavillion laptop and i've been having this problem for a while now. it doesn't connect to a wifi connection unless it is just inches away from the modem. i know the modem doesn't have any problems because it connects to other devices just fine. if i connect it to a wifi maybe 3 or 4 meters it just connects with full signal but it will indicate that it doesn't have an internet connection. please help! thank you

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Do uninstall/reinstall the Wifi adapter first.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Wifi adapter.
- Reboot your laptop after uninstalling the driver and it should reinstall the driver automatically after the reboot.
- Do try connecting your laptop again into your wireless network and see if the same problem will persist.
