I had a hard drive crash and had to replace my HD. I have a duel monitor set up that now sets up as 1 big monitor centering in the center of both screens. I used to have it set up as a extend monitor. using monitor 1 and 2 seen as 2 monitors, now both monitors are seen but treated as only 1 big monitor. how can I get it to recognize it as monitor 1 and monitor 2 so that I can configure it as a extended monitor desk top.
Have a R9 290, i7 xeon CPU 12 gb ram, Asus MB Win 7 64 bit professional . Winows only see 1 monitor but the AMD Catalyst control center se the 2 diffrent monitors but only see it as 1 monitor and not 1 and 2. So Now I have 1 big screen split between 2 monitors. Other than changing the HD and reloading Win7 everything is the same. Doesn't mater what ver of video driver from AMD it is the same.

Solution
don't use AMD control panel to set it up. that would only be good for a 3+ monitor setup. disable AMD eyefinity in AMD control panel and just set it to extend displays in windows display properties
