Hi,

While the TV is connected in your laptop, press the Windows key + P at the same time and select between Extended or Duplicate display and see if it will work. Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help if the first step will not work.
- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Intel graphics driver.
- Next is to check Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Intel graphics.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link:

Windows 8 32bit: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversForWin8/VGA/VGA_Intel_Win8_32_Z917102843.zip?_ga=1.20340538.305422646.1455979617
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot and it loads back into the desktop screen, press the Windows key + P at the same time and select between Extended or Duplicate display again and see if it will work or not.
