For the past couple weeks i've been having an issue where videos (not just on youtube) will not play, like on youtube for example the video buffers but never plays, i can see the first frame of the video as well. The videos work fine in firefox when this is happening. I try refreshing, over and over, reopening video in a new tab, deleting cookies and whatnot, and disabling extensions, but it keeps happening. When i close chrome and open it up again it works straight away, but i dont have to have to keep doing that everytime. If i keep refreshing eventually the videos magically start working again but there is no audio (also does this when i quit chrome), i can hear it coming from my game but not the videos or any site in chrome, and the only solution is to unplug my speakers and plug them back in. If anyone has a solution to this please let me know as i dont really want to switch browsers.

I'd try what Tradesman1 said. Chrome has been horrible lately. Why I joined these forums today to see if there was any news on it. More than likely going to switch to Firefox myself. The hardware acceleration being off does seem to help for a little while, then it reverts to being slow. Pretty bad when Edge is actually better than Chrome.
