Lenovo y50 4k with 960m , should i buy with all the complaints and issues?

okay so i made up some money to buy this y50, the problem is, i dont think i will be able to game in 4k at all, but will it be good because i watch a lot of youtube, also i wanna game on this, so is it easy to switch to 1080p and game?

I would get the non 4k model. 4k at 18 inches or lower is pretty much useless unless your a graphics designer, this is because the pixels are soo small that you can't really tell the difference unless you have really really good eyes.
