I am thinking of getting a mac laptop but don't know which one. My requirements aren't very high and I would prefer it was a mac or chromebook as I have had it with windows.
It should be able to do the following:
A good bright screen. Should be able to be bright enough to see contents while in the sun.
Must be heat resistant, in other words it shouldn't throttle if the ambient temps are high as I plan to use this in a conservatory during the summer season.
A good battery life - 8+ hours of normal web surfing while having max brightness if possible.
Good sound optimisation for headphones as I plan to listen to music.
Light
Must not have a hdd. SSD or other noiseless storage. A fan is allowed.
I plan on using this laptop for basic needs but it must last. This includes surfing the web, watching youtube videos, light music editing and listening to music. The max load I will put on this machine is having a lot of browser tabs open when I am answering people questions on this forum (50+).
Money is not a restriction but I want value for money. Also if it is possible, try and find a black laptop as silver doesn't agree with the sun as the light reflects of the screen making it hard for me to see.
