Will this laptop play the sims on medium-high settings?

Hi.
This Laptop should be able to run the Sims 4 on medium settings on 1376*768 resolution with a framerate of about 40fps, which means it would be relatively smooth.
So the Sims 3 shouldnt be much of a problem for this Laptop.

This GPU is a iGPU, which means it sits on the same chip as your CPU. This means CPU and GPU have to share the same memory, so you have a potential bottleneck there.
Since this laptop is only coming with one RAM-Module, i would you to buy a second module (it should have the same specs as the first one), which would allow your memory to run in dual-channel mode and double its bandwidth, resulting in maybe 5-15% more gaming performance.

HOWEVER:
I'm not quite sure if this laptop is a good deal. Unfortunately i don't really know any canadian hardware shops, so i can't really help you there.
You're usally paying like +100$ for Windows 10 only. If you're not a total noob with computers, you should get a laptop without OS, buy windows 7 for 20$ and upgrade it to win 10, saving you around 80$ which you could invest in better hardware.
