hello guys I have fairly new lenovo edge 15 been using it for the past 6 month, it has an intel i7 5500u nvidia gt 840m, I usually max out dota 2 on it and i play it for extended periods of time with no issues what so ever. recently my laptop started stuttering and lagging alot this would happen in fights so I suspected overheating because of the loud fan noise so I downloaded a hardware monitor and to my surprise the cpu was overheating hitting temps as high as 98 c but the gpu was at rock solid 66c at max load wich stumped me to say the least. now the cpu tems stays at 40 to 50c and would on verry basic tasks like web surfing and stuff hit 80 88 and this would spike to that level for a sc then goes back down to 50c but the gpu never overheats. my fans cant be the problem cauze the holle system would overheat not just the cpu and its fairly new 6 month of light use I only like use it for about 8 hours a week, I dont suspect dust and im not gonna open it up to check il jusr ship it out for repair but any ideas why this would happen ?

it only has one fan and its a farily new laptop with little to no use the dust would need more time build up so thats why I dont think its the fan, do u think it might be a board issue ?
