I'm a high school student and I'm looking for a gaming laptop that will last me for a long time. My parents set the budget at a max of 40K PHP so thats' about 860 USD. Since electronics here in the Philippines are overpriced, these two were the best specced in their price point, maxing out my budget. Which of the two should I go for? I play CS:GO, CoD: BO (the first one), GTA IV and it's expansion packs, and maybe GTA V. Assassin's Creed III doesn't hurt also. I also do the common tasks on a laptop like browsing the web, watching videos etc. P.S. I can't upgrade anything in the future, and also if you're wondering, the base configed Inspiron 7559 here is over a thousand US dollars.

Not much. The r7 edges out in some games whereas the gtx 850 wins in some.
But the i7 is a quad core one compared to the dual core i5. That makes a difference in recent games though

True a gaming PC would be a lot better than a laptop. Lets see what the OP has his views on this

The i7 is actually a dual-core, and the i5 on the Dell is actually faster..
