Which one should i get simple question please gaming laptop

Ok so ive been looking for a gaming laptop and yes i will be paying a premium and ive come to a conculsion between the MSI GT Series GT80S TITAN SLI-002 vs MSI GT Series GT72S Dominator Pro G-041 and all i want to know is which one would you go with simple question. please no you should just get a desktop as i already have one and just want a premium gaming laptop to take down to California when i go visit friends and family from school please and thank you

Neither the 32GB of RAM nor the extra 200 Mhz processor speed is going to do all that much for you. The difference between the SSDs may be significant, depending on how much you need to install on it. I think you'd probably be just fine with the 256GB SSD. Given that and the cheaper model does come with GTX 980s in SLI, I'd probably go with the MSI GT Series GT80S TITAN SLI-002.

I understand what your saying but if you look closely you'll realize the msi titian im looking at is sli 980m not 980s which are a grand more

In truth, I am surprised to find there is laptop version of the GTX 980 (non-"M"). Doesn't really change my recommendation though. There's likely nothing you can do with a GTX980 that you can't do with GTX 980m SLI.

Yes they have had desktop gpu's in laptops for probably about 6 months now but now on to one last question the 980 is vr ready and the 980m is not what would you say to that

If VR is at all interesting for you, then I'd recommend going that route (unless you can handle just doing it on your desktop).

You know what my own desktop completely skiped my mind I probably will do the sli 980m so ill say thanks for the help with the decision my good sir and honestly i probably wouldn't be using VR on the go and like you said it really doesn't interest me all the much
