1. What is your budget?

800 USD

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

17.4" or larger strongly preferred, at least 15.6"

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Not picky

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

I don't care if it IS a desktop (or build list). I don't remember the last time my current laptop left the house.

5. How much battery life do you need?

See above.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Steam cheapies like Sega Genesis packs and dungeon crawlers, World of Tanks, possibly Spore. I'd prefer medium or better.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

Web surfing, Android hacking (adb/fastboot), file storage

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

1 TB or more. Bonus points for multiple drive bays so I can have or add an SSD.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

Not picky

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

My current one is 5-6 years old and matching that would be great. (The only reason I'm replacing it is that the fan is failing.)

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

Something that can burn CDs at minimum. Bluray would be awesome.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

I honestly don't care...

13. What country do you live in?

USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

Touch screen and backlit keyboard would be nice. Bluetooth and SD reader strongly preferred, and as many USB ports as possible, especially USB 3. Ten key strongly preferred but I normally use a Model M with an adapter ^_^

I have assembled a PC part list:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Dm47cf

I've included most of what you requested. It has a Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer/Reader. It has a 2TB HDD + 240GB SSD. I put in 16GB of RAM in case you wanted it and an R9 380, but you could downgrade to 8 gigs of RAM and a GTX 950 if you want (even if you downgraded, the machine would be capable of doing everything you listed). I wasn't sure if you had a monitor or keyboard and mouse, so I included all three. I know the combined total goes well over your budget but you could just downgrade a lot of the parts if you want. You may not need an i5-6500, but I included it since you mentioned Android hacking. I thought you might want the SSD and the hard drive since you said you...

As for a laptop, http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-17-3-Inch-Laptop-Windows-80FG00DBUS/dp/B012B6YQF0/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1459024813&sr=1-4&refinements=p_n_availability%3A1248800011%2Cp_74%3A40000-99999%2Cp_n_size_browse-bin%3A7817234011 would be my pick. It has 1TB of storage and a 940M for your gaming needs...I am pretty sure the 940M can handle most Steam cheapies on medium setttings.

It has pretty much the same specs but at a lower price, if you don't mind the ugly design. It has 2 extra gigs of video RAM, but I don't think the 940M can utilize that anyway.

It would be a tiny bit faster when gaming, but otherwise you won't notice much of a difference.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=09Z-01SB-00023 This one's also great if you're looking for more gaming performance. Like all of the other ones, it has a 1TB hard drive and a 17.3" screen, but it has an i7-5500U and a 950M.

It really just boils down to personal preference. Hope that helped!
